Topps Finest Messi Superfractor Autograph Surfaces Ahead of Official Release

Driven by live on-card autographs from Lionel Messi, interest in Topps Finest MLS has arguably never been greater.
But it appears that one of the product’s most important cards was pulled prior to the official Feb. 28 release date.
A day before release, screenshots began appearing across social media of the Messi Superfractor Autograph 1/1 being pulled. Footage of the card from a two-box random team break by Whatnot user “dubem80” can be viewed below:

Interest in several MLS products has risen recently behind Messi’s on-card autographs. Along with autos in Topps Finest MLS, Fanatics Collectibles recently announced that Mystery Redemptions found in MLS Chrome were also Messi autographs.
While it may be disappointing for some collectors to see this card already pulled, Messi has plenty of other autographs in Topps Finest MLS, including other 1/1s.
Messi has officially joined #TheTen.

One of those 1/1s is the Prized Footballers Superfractor Autograph, which Fanatics Live has added to its “The Ten” promotion. Included cards carry a $10,000 bounty if pulled on the Fanatics Live platform.
Topps also recently announced that a future MLS product will contain the first MLS Debut Patches. Building off of the popularity of 2023 Topps Chrome Update Baseball's MLB Rookie Debut Patches, the MLS Debut Patches will feature newcomers who play before April 1.
