Future Cat QB has a big week
Arizona quarterback commit Will Plummer had quite a week and was awarded for it. The 6-2, 205-pound signal caller led his Gilbert (Az) High School squad to a 62-22 win over Goldwater and accounted for seven scores in the game.

For his efforts Plummer was named Arizona Cardinals High School Player of the Week as well as one of the first five recipients of the Ed Doherty Award nomination medallions handed out by the Grand Canyon Gridiron Club.
Against Goldwater Plummer was 15-24 for 249 yards and 5 touchdown tosses. He also ran 13 times for 133 yards and two scores. On the season he is 81-134 for 1,070 yards, 10 scores and seven picks. He has also rushed 49 times for 301 yards and four scores.
Plummer is rated as a 247Composite 3-star prospect and the No. 33 pro-style quarterback in the 2020 recruiting class. The brother of Purdue Quarterback Jack Plummer, he committed to Arizona back in January.
