FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — For the second day in a row an Arkansas Razorback linebacker announced he will enter the transfer portal. Sophomore Jordan Crook will leave the Hogs after totaling 28 tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss in 2023.

The Duncanville, Texas native signed with Arkansas in the 2022 class as a 3-star prospect. Crook joins three other Razorbacks whose departure has been made public including Chris “Pooh” Paul, Jaylen Lewis and Sam Mbake. That makes three players gone from Travis Williams' defensive room.

WHAT HE SAID

"First and foremost I want to thank Coach Pittman and the rest of the coaching staff for blessing me with the opportunity to play the game I love," Crook said. "Thank you to all my teammates, I'm very grateful for the time I've spent with you all. You all are brothers to me.

"After long conversations with my family, I would like to announce that I am officially entering my name into the transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility left. It's time to do what's best for me. Thank you Hog nation."

The portal officially opens Friday.
