FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton will call plays for the first time in his coaching career for coach Sam Pittman after offensive coordinator Dan Enos was fired, the university announced in a press release Sunday. Guiton has been with Arkansas since 2021 after previous coaching stops at Houston, Louisiana Tech and Colorado State.

He is perhaps best known for holding the Ohio State record for the most touchdown passes in a single half with six against Florida A&M in 2013. At just 32 years old, the former Buckeyes' quarterback looks to revitalize an offense coming off its worst performance in terms of points this season in a 7-3 loss.

The Razorbacks only had 200 yards of total offense against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs' defense came into the week averaging 395.2 yards per game allowed through six games. The Hogs rank outside the top 10 in every major offensive category in the 14-team SEC, including rushing, after being seventh nationally in rushing a year ago.

Guiton will get his first shot at calling plays against Florida on the road Nov. 4 in Gainesville in a blackout atmosphere. A network and kickoff time have not been announced.
