Auburn baseball starts its season with a three-game home series against Eastern Kentucky.

Butch Thompson will begin his ninth season on the Plains and Auburn baseball will start its 75th season at Plainsman Park. 

This three-game slate between Auburn and Eastern Kentucky will be the first action ever between the two programs. 

“It’s time to play ball,” Butch Thompson said via a release from Auburn. “I’m excited to get this season started with our players, coaches, fans, the whole nine yards. We’re looking forward to getting to host (Eastern Kentucky) and getting our season started with a great three-game series at home.”

Eastern Kentucky will start its fourth season under head coach Chris Prothro. The Colonels went 29-30 in 2023.

Friday – Jr. RHP Chase Allsup vs. Jr. LHP Isaac Milburn

Saturday – R-Jr. RHP Joseph Gonzalez vs. Jr. LHP Quinton Hall

Sunday – Jr. LHP Carson Myers vs. Sr. RHP Rian Yates

The Auburn Tigers take on the Eastern Kentucky Colonels in a Friday-to-Sunday series this weekend. All three games can be seen on the SEC Network+.
