The order of Auburn's quarterbacks from the second open media viewing window of spring ball

Check out which quarterback went out first at spring practice.

Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze is studying his current roster, trying to figure out who will start when the Tigers face Alabama A&M on August 31st.

One of the positions that has created the most interest among Auburn fans is quarterback, as folks are asking the question, "Who will quarterback the Auburn Tigers?"

At his press conference before spring break, Coach Freeze said the job was Payton Thorne's to lose, but four guys need to get reps, and they are charting each of those reps.

After these comments from Coach Freeze, some Auburn fans wondered if there truly was a quarterback battle, and Hank Brown answered that question on the Locked On Auburn Podcast by saying, "It doesn't change anything. I think there is a quarterback battle, and I think I'm going to give it my all every day. It doesn't matter what is said, what happens. I'm going to give it my all every day. My process doesn't change. I'm competing every single day I go out there. It's up to me and competing every day. "

At the second media viewing window, the quarterback order was the same as we saw in the first window, with Throne going out first, then Holder Geriner, followed by Brown, and lastly, the true freshman Walker White.

At some point, you have to figure that this race is going to get down to two or three names, but it could be a while before we see this happen.

More than likely, Thorne wins this job, but it would not be surprising to see one of the other three give him a run for his money.
