Gunner Britton, Connor Lew named SEC players of the week

Britton won SEC co-offensive lineman of the week while Lew earned SEC freshman of the week.
According to the Southeastern Conference, Gunner Britton was Auburn's highest graded offensive lineman (93.0) in a game where the Tigers totaled 416 yards, Auburn's most in a SEC game Oct. 29, 2022. He helped Auburn's offensive line keep a clean pocket - allowing zero sacks and only one QB hurry - while allowing Payton Thorne to pass for a SEC-best 230 yards and 3 TDs. Britton also didn't allow any QB hits or pressures while also not committing a penalty or missing an assignment.
Lew, who was receiving his first start at center for the Tigers, played every snap. He helped pave the way for 416 total yards, Auburn's most in a SEC game Oct. 29, 2022. He also helped Auburn's offensive line keep a clean pocket - allowing zero sacks and only one QB hurry - while allowing Payton Thorne to pass for a SEC-best 230 yards and 3 TDs.
