Nine weeks of the 2023 college football season have come and gone. With another week in the books, it is once again time to evaluate the performances of former Auburn Tigers from the past week.

TJ Finley

Finley has played at a high level for the Texas State Bobcats this season. The Bobcats fell 31-13 at the hands of the Troy Trojans this week, but Finley's performance was still solid.

Finley went 24-38 for 262 yards and one touchdown. He did throw two interceptions but has only thrown five on the season.

Texas State is 5-3 and currently holds in second place in the western division of the Sun Belt Conference. The Bobcats will be back in action this week when they take on the Georgia Southern Eagles at home. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT and the broadcast can be found on ESPN+.

Bo Nix

Bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks traveled to Salt Lake City to take on the No. 13 Utah Utes and came away with a 35-6 victory. Nix added another solid performance to his 2023 campaign that has placed him in the Heisman Trophy conversation.

Nix went 24-31 for 248 yards and two touchdowns.

No. 6 Oregon takes on the Cal Golden Bears at home inside Autzen Stadium this week. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. CT and the broadcast will be carried by the Pac-12 Network.
