Auburn quarterback discusses the catch radius of a talented pass catcher

Auburn's pass catchers will be much better in 2024.

In 2023, Auburn didn't get a lot going in the passing game as some of the transfer receivers Coach Freeze brought in didn't make a big impact.

Auburn has a ton of talented pass catchers coming into via the 2024 recruiting class who will have a big impact, but they will be young.

One of the older players on the roster is Auburn tight end Rivaldo Fairweather, who had a really good season a year ago. He had 38 catches for 394 yards and six touchdowns last season, and the 6'4 251, 251-pound tight end will look to add a lot to those numbers this season.

Auburn quarterback Hank Brown joined the Locked On Auburn Podcast and was asked about Fairweather's catch radius. Brown responded, "Love it. It's awesome. Obviously, you can be a great quarterback, but you need guys around you that can help you do that. As you mentioned Rivaldo, he's as good as they come. He's a very special player. Obviously, we saw it in that video. It's great having all these guys, and we're just trying to put it together and get this offense to a point where we can use those guys to the best of our ability."

All of these new pass catchers in Auburn's system will hopefully help the new coaching staff put together an offense that will be more effective than what we saw a year ago. With all of the talent added to the receiver and tight end room, the pass catchers are much better this season than we saw a year ago.
