Recruiting Expert Predicts Auburn To Land Elite Recruit

Auburn football recruiting may be getting ready to heat up.

Auburn football's 2025 recruiting class is already in a good spot and if things go the way that a national recruiting expert is predicting, it could only get better.

The Auburn Tigers currently have nine commits in the 2025 class. According to On3, Auburn has the 8th-ranked class in the country and the third-best class in the SEC. Those numbers could move up over the coming weeks.

On3's Steve Wiltfong put out a prediction for 4-star offensive tackle Broderick Shull. The elite lineman from Bixby, Oklahoma has been predicted to end up with the Auburn Tigers.

"Talking to sources around the recruitment the Tigers have currently set the bar and I logged an On3 RPM prediction to reflect that," Wiltfong wrote. "Auburn will still have to battle to sign Shull. In addition to Illinois, Kansas State and Nebraska, you have Texas Tech and Texas A&M prominently in play. The Red Raiders get their official June 15 and the Aggies on June 22. He was in College Station two weekends ago."

Shull is the 11th ranked offensive tackle in the country according to On3.

Auburn currently has three lineman committed in the 20025 class. The Tigers have commitments from 3-star lineman Spencer Dowland, 3-star interior offensive lineman Tai Buster, 4-star Tavaris Dice. An addition of Shull would be a huge one for Auburn's 2025 class. Offensive tackle has been an issue for the Tigers for the better part of a decade and adding two tackles for the second class in a row could set up Auburn's offensive line's future over the next few seasons.
