A.J. Dillon: "I Have A Lot More In Store Than People May Think"

Now at 100%, where can the junior RB go this year?

A.J. Dillon looked like he was heading towards at least an All American season when he went down with a lower leg injury last year against Temple. Before the game, he showed off a new skill set, his hands, when he caught a touchdown pass against UMass, and continued some of his signature power runs most notably against Wake Forest.

But after the Temple game he seemed like a different RB. While BC was able to fill in the gaps with players like Travis Levy, Ben Glines and David Bailey, Dillon's absence or role limitations were very visible on the field. He lacked an ability to break tackles, something that was a huge asset, and he just didn't have the explosiveness that made him known on a national level.

After the regular season, A.J. Dillon seemed back to his normal self, blasting Boise State for a touchdown during BC's one quarter exhibition in the First Responders Bowl. This summer, he seems like a man ready to take the next step. Dillon appears confident, and hungry, and ready to make defenses pay. He talked about wanting to get back on the same page as Anthony Brown in the passing game, and bringing his game to a whole new level.
