AJ Dillon And Zion Johnson Earn ACC Weekly Honors

The honors came in after Saturday's win as Boston College running back AJ Dillon and offensive lineman Zion Johnson were both named ACC Players of the Week, honors announced by the conference on Monday.
AJ Dillon, named ACC Running Back of the Week, had an explosive game against Syracuse in BC's 58-27 win on Saturday. He ran for 242 yards and three touchdowns, while ripping off a 54 yard long run for a score as well. The junior running back finished the game averaging a whopping 6.9 yards per carry.

This was Dillon's fourth ACC Running Back of the Week Award and seventh of his career. Dillon enters this week with 3,983 rushing yards; the most in BC history and seventh most in ACC history. Zion Johnson, a transfer from Davidson earned ACC Offensive Linemen of the Week. Since joining the Eagles he has played in all 9 games, and has started in the past three. Johnson graded out as Boston College’s best lineman against the Orange with a 93 percent grand and four knockdown blocks. This was his second honor already with the Eagles. Before the season, Steve Addazio talked about how excited he was that Johnson was eligible, and we are seeing results immediately. H
Boston College will conclude their home schedule in the Red Bandana Game against Florida State at noon on the ACC Network.
