BC Lands Commitment From 2020 DE Jah Joyner

Boston College landed a much sought after commitment this weekend at a position fo need as weak side defensive end Jah Joyner from Danbury Connecticut pledged to the Eagles on Twitter:
I am proud to announce that I am 100% committed to Boston College. Thank you @BCCoachAddazio @BCCoachReid @CoachLeonardBC@BCFootball for giving me the opportunity. #WeAreBC #TheHatterWay pic.twitter.com/A3OCe2hw1E

Joyner a 6'4 220 DE was a three star recruit according to his ranking on Rivals and 247 sports. He had a very impressive resume of claimed offers including Arizona State, Minnesota, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Nebraska along with lesser schools like UConn.
The state of Connecticut has been a place that BC usually hits well on most recently bringing in the Sebastian brothers (Bryce and Brandon, along with Jack Conley, and kicker John Tessitore. But Joyner is the first commitment out of the state in the Class of 2020, and the first defensive end in the class as well.
