Our final roundtable of the year looks at the team's record this year. If you missed our other roundtables please check them out: Offensive MVP, and Defensive MVP, Breakout Stars of 2019, Areas of Concern

4th And Dude of 4th and Dude Podcast: 10-2 (6-2). This isn’t even that hot of a take – the ACC is going to STINK this year and someone has to come in second, it might as well be the team with the best player. AB makes the leap into a consistent passer, Petrula and Phillips anchor a stud OLine, and AJ breaks A-Will’s rushing record en route to a Heisman Top-3 finish. Addazio reminds Jimbo Fisher who his daddy is as the Eagles upset Texas A&M in the Orange Bowl to clinch their third 11-win season in school history. The #Roadto10And2 finally comes to fruition, and we officially have a Dude Alert on our hands, folks.

HoyaEagle of SoarScoops: Still debating between 5,6, or 7 wins…

EagleinATL of Eagle in Atlanta: I wish I was joking but I am thinking 7-6 including a meaningless bowl win.

Dan Rubin of BCEagles.com: Look, I know it’s not popular to do, but I never make record predictions anymore. I hate being tied to a number because I believe teams can outperform what shows up on paper. It’s really how I feel, and I’ve given a number of in-depth explanations on a couple of different podcasts, most of which reflect what Steve Addazio said at Media Day. I don’t believe you look at a schedule and pencil in wins or losses, and I also don’t believe you look past the first game to the third or fifth or seventh or whatever. I took a long, circumvential (I don’t think that’s a real word) road to get to this point, but I believe in the theory of “one-game seasons” every week. I know it sounds cliche, but that’s always how my viewpoint evolved over time. So in the interest of consistency, I’ll abstain here.

Heights And Lows: 7 wins. Etch it in stone, with the 7th win in the Quick Lane Bowl over Northwestern.

Eric Hoffses: I’m going 6-6. The beginning of the season is so important because the back of the schedule is just LOADED with tough opponents. It’s tough for me to predict upsets considering Addazio is 1-14 against ranked opponents so I feel comfortable with the .500 record prediction.

AJ Black: I am not as sold on the "this schedule is a murderers row" as some may be. I think there are 9-10 games that Boston College on paper should have a chance at winning, but it will be up to Addazio to do what needs to be done in those moments to put BC in the best position to win. In six years this has been a major issue for him, and I don't think this will be any different. I am going to go with 7-5, however they will get their 8th win in a bowl game this year.
