Boston College has had a busy weekend as they landed their second commit in the past 24 hours. After yesterday's news that Cam Horsley had pledged to the Eagles, Addazio landed a safety from Maryland. Jason Scott a 3* defensive back out of Olney, Maryland pledged to BC on Twitter this afternoon

Scott, a 6'0 175 pound safety, also had offers from ECU, West Virginia, Temple, Vanderbilt, Rutgers, Michigan State, Buffalo, UMass amongst other mid level schools. He is currently ranked the 26th best recruit in the state of Maryland. Currently both safeties for BC will be on the younger side, as both starters graduated last year.

Scott joins a handful of Maryland natives on the team most notably running back Travis Levy and transfer offensive lineman Zion Johnson.
