Did You Notice?
Jon Hilliman Starts For Giants: The former Boston College running back had a tough game for the Giants as he coughed up his second fumble in as many games. The rookie has not exactly been the answer for New York, averaging 3.2 yards per carry against the Patriots and Vikings.
Four More Eagles Invited To XFL Draft: Former BC Heisman Finalist Andre Williams, who never quite caught on in the NFL headlined the newest group of XFL draft invites released yesterday. Other Eagles that were invited included safety Lukas Denis, offensive lineman Ian Silberman and linebacker Ty Schwab. The XFL draft will happen next week, and the league will kick off in February, right after the NFL Super Bowl.
On this date in Boston College history:
On October 11, 2015 the Boston College Men's Hockey team, which was ranked #1 in the country at the time, dropped a 2-1 nail biter to RPI on the road. Goalie Jason Kasdorf of RPI kept BC in check for most of the game, and Zach Sanford had the only goal of the game assisted by Teddy Doherty and Alex Tuch. Boston College would rebound nicely from this game, winning 11 straight, and 12 of their next 13.
Quote of the Day:
Jon Hilliman on his fumble against New England: “Same thing that kind of happened against Washington, turned around and helmet was on the ball. Just can’t happen.”
