Bajakian: Can Make Anthony Brown More Explosive

Yesterday at Boston College, offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian was introduced to the media for the first time as a member of the Eagles staff.  The former Tampa Bay quarterbacks coach talked to the media about what attracted him to BC and their style of offense, why he took the job, and working with A.J. Dillon. But the part that many BC fans would want to hear about is his plan on working with quarterback Anthony Brown. Bajakian who was hired for a variety of reasons, he would continue the New Jersey pipeline (Bergen Catholic), he understood the utility of tight ends and because as Addazio put it was he wanted a coach that would provide high level quarterback instruction.

Earlier this spring Bajakian spoke of watching Brown's film and noted that he did a good job of creating explosive plays, and had an improved completion percentage, but he noted that he saw that Brown's ability to hit targets with pinpoint accuracy was something that needed improving. Watch below to see all of Bajakians comments on Anthony Brown. It appears that he is going to be working on some of the aspects of Brown's game that many fans have wanted to see improve.

Brown who finished last season with 2121 yards passing along with 20 touchdowns and 9 interceptions, just less than a year removed from a serious leg injury that shelved him for the end of the 2017 season. Going into the 2019, Brown's progress and especially his ability to as Bajakian make those pinpoint throws could be the X factor on the 2019 season. If he makes that jump, and can make those throws, Boston College's offense will make a huge leap this season.
