Jake Burt, Hunter Long, And Alec Lindstrom Land On Award Watch Lists

Award watch lists are coming out quickly this summer, and three more Eagles have made lists. Earlier this week it was announced that to no one's surprise, that AJ Dillon was named to the Doak Walker Award watch list.
On Friday, two tight ends made the Mackey Award given to the league's best tight end. Sophomore tight end Hunter Long and his teammate Jake Burt both were among 60 tight ends listed on the watch list. Last season Burt had 6 receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown, while Long had 4 catches for 103 yards and two touchdowns. They both are certainly players to watch this season, especially now that Tommy Sweeney has graduated and drafted to the NFL.
The other award watch list named was Alec Lindstrom for the Rimington Award, given to the nation's best center. Lindstrom, the younger brother of 1st round draft pick Chris, is projected to be the starting center this season. Last season Alec played in two games as a redshirt freshman after Jon Baker was sidelined with an injury to start the season.
If BC has any other players named to Award Watch lists BC Maven will certainly let you know!
