On this date in Boston College history:
On October 10, 2015 the infamous 3-0 Boston College-Wake Forest game took place in Chestnut Hill. It was a horror show for both programs, as they combined for 183 yards passing, six turnovers, and 1/4 kicking. The Eagles passing game mashed together Troy Flutie and Jeff Smith who combined finished the day 6/20 for 74 yards and an interception. The ending of the game was incredible, after John Wofford fumbled the ball with 59 seconds remaining, the Eagles drove the short field, got the ball to the one yard line with 29 seconds remaining, Tyler Rouse couldn't punch it home followed by the Eagles failing to set quick enough to spike it as the time ticked to zero.
Quote of the Day:
Steve Addazio on the loss: "The world likes to blame somebody, so blame me. Just get it done.
