Boston College Opens As 7.5 Point Favorites Over Rutgers

Just days after a stunning loss to Kansas 48-24, a game that they were favored by 20 points to win, the BC Eagles newest odds have been posted for their upcoming matchup against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

Rutgers, who comes into the game 1-1, with a win over UMass and was shut out against Iowa. Other than BC's struggles last week there are also some reasons that you may want to pick Rutgers. They are coming off a bye week, the game is at home, and as many have pointed Steve Addazio's teams never seem to put away Power 5 opponents, especially by more than a touchdown. This game is also going to be like the Super Bowl for the Scarlet Knights, they have to win this game to protect their recruiting turf against BC and most importantly save Chris Ash's job.
Can Steve Addazio fix the multitude of problems we saw on Friday? We shall see.
