(HALF )Louisville 28 Boston College 22: Defense Struggles In First Half

Boston College's defense has been the story again today, as they have struggled throughout the first half to stop Louisville. The Cardinals have hit multiple explosive plays, and the Eagles have not been able to get Louisville off the field. Malik Cunningham hit multiple long passes, and has been testing the BC secondary who haven't been able to respond. Louisville has 422 yards in the first half, as the Eagles can't get off the field.

On the offensive side of the ball, Anthony Brown looked strong to start the game, hitting Hunter Long fora  72 yard touchdown pass, but went down with a non-contact injury that prevented him from putting weight on his leg. The injury does not look good, and he has not returned to the game.

Dennis Grosel came in and has looked solid so far for the Eagles. After a Louisville touchdown, Grosel marched the Eagles down the field and scored a touchdown to Kobay White. After a dropped extra point, Grosel picked up the ball and threw it in for a two point conversion.

The offense has made some plays, but the Eagles have a huge uphill climb if they can't make a stop on defense. We shall see what adjustments, Steve Addazio makes at the half.
