Depth Chart:

First Quarter:

BC will get the ball to start the game. Two runs for nothing. But a nice first down for Ben Glines on a pass from Anthony Brown. Anthony Brown forces one in and it's picked off. Bad bad choice.

Jamie Newman continues to do just enough to move the sticks on third down. Scotty Washington with a pair of nice catches, Wake is at the goal line. Touchdown Cade Carney. Too easy.

Three and out go the Eagles, then BC punts it, Mehdi El-Attrach with kick interference, 15 yard penalty.

BC on first two downs stuff Cade Carney and Jamie Newman, then Newman bombs it for a long catch to Scotty Washington for a huge gain.

Eagles defense holds at the goal line and prevents WF from getting in end zone, looked strong against the run, struggling against Scotty Washington's size. 10-0 Wake

Two explosive plays in a row, one by AJ Dillon, one by Zay Flowers and the Eagles are rolling. Wake challenges the Zay run, and win moving the ball back a bit. False start called on Tyler Vrabel on a huge 3rd down. But a nice pass from Anthony Brown to Jake Burt gives the Eagles a first down. End of first quarter.

Second Quarter

The ugliest pass on 4th down from Brown to Jake Burt across the field. On third down Brown gets hit and Kobay White drops it, leads to an Aaron Boumerhi field goal. 10-3 Wake.

Beale Smith with a 20 yard run, Max Richardson gets BC's first sack in three weeks. Series ends with Sage Surratt drops an easy catch. Travis Levy bobbles the punt, but BC will have it.

25+ yard run with David Bailey followed by a ten yard catch by Bailey and the Eagles are cooking again. Dillon and Bailey need to be splitting carries 50/50. Would be more beneficial for the entire offense. Beautiful drive ends with Zay Flowers wide open in the end zone and the game is tied 10-10

BC gets a quick three and out after a run by Newman and two passes defending by Brandon Sebastian. He is becoming a legit lockdown CB.

BC goes three and out, two runs for nothing and a pass to White.

Jamie Newman with a 50 yard run, followed by a touchdown catch by Sage Surratt, who catches it one handed as Brandon Sebastian is draped on him.

Travis Levy with a HUGE kick return, puts BC in Wake territory to start the drive.  Nice pass from Brown to Hunter Long and another one to Kobay White and it's 2nd and goal

Third Quarter

After an Anthony Brown interception, BC starting to look tired on defense, Herzlich refers to it as "Dead legs'. 14th play of the drive, and the Eagles are looking tired. Tanner Karafa goes down hurt. BC holds in the red zone with two big plays by Jason Maitre, and force a field goal. Wake is up 20-17.

BC moves the ball with a nice pass to Kobay White and some nice runs by Dillon. But an incomplete pass to David Bailey ends the drive.

Jamie Newman was getting a lot of rhythm with Sage Surratt, but throws a pass that is picked off by Mike Palmer!

BC drives down the field, but a mind blowing delay of game pushes the field goal attempt back even further, blown attempt and a wasted opportunity.

Next drive, Scotty Washington TD 10 point lead. Nothing they could do there

BC drives down, and a touchdown pass from David Bailey to Chris Garrison!!!
