Addazio Gives Update On Isaiah McDuffie

After last week's disastrous game against Kansas one of the biggest stories has to be the health and recovery of injured linebacker Isaiah McDuffie. The junior linebacker who was second on the team last year in tackles, and was a dynamic playmaker has been out since the spring when he suffered a leg injury.
Steve Addazio gave an update on McDuffie's injury during today's conference with the media:
Again this could be reading into his comments a bit, but it sounds to me like McDuffie is getting there, but not ready yet. I wouldn't be surprised if based off his comments,, which sound like what Addazio has said over the past few weeks, if the LB is not ready for this weekend's game against Rutgers.
If McDuffie can't go, it will be Joe Sparacio who will get the start against the Scarlet Knights. The redshirt freshman has been a mixed bag so far, making an incredible play against Virginia Tech, but also struggling in pass coverage over the past two games against Richmond and Kansas.
