Big question going into this season

Addazio: How Will He Manage AJ Dillon's Workload This Season?

Today at Boston College's Media Day, head coach Steve Addazio was asked about junior running back AJ Dillon's progression and how he would be used this season. Last season many critiqued the head coach for over using the All-ACC running back and increasing the odds of an injury which eventually happened against Temple.

As seen below Addazio talked a lot about how he will be conscious about how they manage Dillon's workload, but, and this was a huge but, it is all game dependent. Reading between the lines that says games where BC has a big lead (or down big) they won't use Dillon as heavily, but in closer games expect a heavy dosage of AJ.

Addazio also talked about all the talent behind Dillon that should be game ready and they will all be needed this season. He specifically complimented David Bailey, now a sophomore and a "big banger" and as Addazio put it "looks completely different" from last year. He also talked about Ben Glines and Travis Levy, two home run hitters who will be great backs especially when Dillon needs a breather.

Check out the video below to see what else Addazio had to say about BC's running back situation.
