VIDEO: Could Denzel Blackwell Be The Next Hamp Cheevers?
Boston College landed Texas defensive back Denzel Blackwell last night according to the recruits Twitter page. But what kind of player will he be? He isn't an overly tall cornerback, coming in at 5'11, and watching his film he was playing some safety but doesn't appear to be a big hitter like a Will Harris. But what I did see and like was that he had great spacial awareness, he was constantly watching the quarterbacks eyes as plays unraveled to get a good read on where the ball was going, and has the speed to stick with receivers and to catch up if he gets beat. What do you think of his film?
