The Pac-12 announced its 16-player all-conference women’s basketball team, and Cal’s Jayda Curry was not on it.

It’s the second year in a row that Curry was left off the all-conference squad. Last year she was not named all-conference as a freshman even though she led the league in scoring.

This year she is averaging 15.5 points, which ranks sixth in the conference, and she scored 27, 28 and 26 points in Cal’s final three games, all against teams ranked in the top 25 at the time.

She has also hit at least one three-pointer in 51 straight regular-season games, a conference record.

The drawback for Curry is that the Bears finished near the bottom of the Pac-12 standings, with a 4-14 conference record heading into Wednesday’s first-round Pac-12 tournament game against Washington State.

It’s noteworthy that Arizona State’s Tyi Skinner, who finished second in the conference in scoring at 19.0 points per game, also was left off the all-conference team, presumably because the Sun Devils finished last in the Pac-12 with a 1-15 conference record.

Cal, Arizona State and Washington were the only three Pac-12 schools that did not have a representative on the all-conference team.

Stanford and USC had three players apiece named to the all-Pac-12 team.

Utah’s Alissa Pili was named the Pac-12 player of the year, Stanford’s Cameron Brink is the defensive player of the year, and Utah’s Lynne Roberts was named coach of the year. Raegan Beers of Oregon State is the freshman of the year.

Here is the all-conference squad:
