Cal Transfer Mike Meadows Winds Up at Saint Louis

It's been a long, winding road during the offseason for guard Mike Meadows, who spent time on the Cal campus during the summer but has now committed to Saint Louis University.
After leaving Portland at the end of this past season, Meadows committed to Loyola Marymount. But he changed his mind and decided to transfer for Cal.
The 6-foot-2 Meadows was working out with the Cal basketball team during the summer, but then decided to leave Cal too and re-entered the transfer portal
A few days ago, Meadows decided to commit to Saint Louis, and presumably he will play the 2023-24 season for the Billikens.
Saint Louis head coach Travis Ford coached Mike’s father, so that may be part of the reason Meadows chose Saint Louis.
Meadows' collegiate career began at Eastern Washington before he transferred to Portland, and he averaged 11.0 points this past season for the Pilots.
Meadows has one season of college eligibility remaining and will use it to play in the Atlantic 10 conference, which includes VCU, Dayton, Fordham, Davidson, Duquesne and George Mason among others. The conference does not have football.
