Cal closes out its home football schedule on Saturday, Nov. 16 with a home game against USC that will kick off at 8 p.m.

Won't that be fun.

The game will be aired on FS1 for those of you who don't relish the idea of getting home somewhere around 1 a.m.

The long-term forecast calls for temperatures dropping to about 48 degree that night.

The Bears (4-4, 1-4 Pac-12), who face Washington State this Saturday with a 4 p.m. kickoff at Memorial Stadium, are desperate to halt a four-game losing streak that has put their bowl hopes in jeopardy.

Cal must win a minimum of two more games to become bowl eligible, and it may take a seven-win total to actually land a spot in the postseason.

The Bears close their season with road games against Stanford and UCLA.

USC (5-4, 4-2) has its own problems. The Trojans are coming off a 56-24 home loss to Oregon, which has Ducks coach Mario Cristobal being mentioned as a potential candidate at Florida State and USC coach Clay Helton being mentioned as potentially unemployed by season's end.

The Trojans play Saturday at Arizona State before visiting Cal, which beat them 15-14 in Los Angels last season. USSC then closes its regular season on Nov. 23 against rival UCLA, which has won three in a row heading into a bye week.

This will be the 100th all-time meeting between the Bears and Trojans. USC leads the all-time series vs. Cal 69-26-4 and had won 14 straight in the series before last season.
