Betting Lines Set for Pac-12 Football 2023 Season-Openers

The start of the 2023 college football season is still three months away, but that doesn’t mean people can’t bet on teams’ season-openers.
Based on betting lines for Pac-12 season-openers provided by four betting sites – Fan Duel, Caesars Sportsbook, Draft Kings and BetOnline – all but one Pac-12 team is favored to win its first game of the season. The lone underdog is Colorado, which has overhauled its roster under new coach Deion Sanders and is a three-touchdown underdog on the road against 2022 national runnerup TCU, coached by former Cal coach Sonny Dykes.
Cal is also on the road in its September 2 opener, but the Bears are a touchdown favorite against North Texas, which went 7-7 overall last season, including 6-2 in Conference USA. The over-under on that game is 58 points, according to Fan Duel, so bettors expect Cal to score some points.
Cal should have good knowledge of North Texas’ personnel because new Cal offensive line coach Mike Bloesch was a North Texas assistant coach the past three seasons, and was its offensive coordinator last year.
Here are the betting lines for the Pac-12 openers from the four sites mentioned, with the lines of Fan Duel, Caesars Sportsbook and Draft Kings provided by Vegas Insider, and the BetOnline lines provided by BetOnline.ag. Games involving FCS opponents will not have a betting line until just before the game, if at all.
