Cal Transfer S Raymond Woodie III Commits to Bethune-Cookman

Cal graduate transfer safety Raymond Woodie III announced on social media on Monday that he has committed to Bethune-Cookman.
Bethune-Cookman is an FCS school and is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. Woodie is from Palmetto, Florida, and began his college career at Florida State before transferring to Cal prior to the 2021 season.
Bethune-Cookman went 3-8 this past season, including 2-6 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

Injuries plagued Woodie in 2023 when he played in just three games with no starts and recorded four tackles and one fumble recovery.
He played in 10 games off the bench in 2022, when he recorded 12 tackles, including a career-high five stops against Oregon.
As a Cal sophomore in 2021, Woodie played in all 12 contests, all off the bench, and and recorded seven tackles.
He played his first two seasons at Florida State, where he saw action in 19 games with two starts. In those two years he had 34 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
