Zeiqui Lawton Entering Transfer Portal
Bearcats Football is traveling down south for a battle with the South Florida Bulls but one of the newest members of the team is heading in a different direction.
Freshman defensive lineman Zeiqui Lawton announced that he is entering the transfer portal after just nine games in the Bearcats program.
According to 247Sports, Lawton was the second-ranked 2020 prospect to come out of West Virginia and earned a three-star rating. He was the 69th-ranked defensive linemen in the 2021 class.
The 6-foot-3, 266-pound interior presence chose UC over offers from Illinois, Nebraska, Boise State, West Virginia, and more.
