October is "Breast Cancer Awareness Month" and we at Clemson Maven want to help do our part to help find a cure for this disease.

It may seem like a small endeavor, but we believe there is something that we can do—donate money.

So, we are re-releasing the book by Zach Lentz, "The Journey To The Top: The Tigers historic march through the 2018 season" for the month of October with 100% of the proceeds going to Dabo's All In Team Foundation.

Breast cancer hits close to home for the Swinney family. Kathleen lost her older sister to breast cancer and thanks to breakthrough research and early detection, both Kathleen and her younger sister discovered that they carry the BRCA gene mutation, making the risk of the disease very close to her. The Swinney's believe that the research and early detection very well may have saved the lives of both Kathleen and her younger sister and they dream of a day when no one suffers from this disease. They are passionate about helping to find a cure, while hopefully making things a little easier for the families who are currently in the battle with this disease.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with the disease over the course of her lifetime. According to SCDHEC, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in South Carolina and it is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women in the state. Our objective is to raise funds annually for breast cancer research and prevention, with an emphasis on local hospitals, university research programs, and organizations providing medical screening, testing, and support to local upstate residents. Since 2009, the All In Foundation has raised and donated over $850,000 to breast cancer prevention, technology, and research.11 Facts About Breast Cancer

Zach's wife, Michelle, is currently dying with terminal Stage IV breast cancer that has spread to her lungs—making this mission and this month extremely important.
