Myles Murphy Pro Day Numbers Officially Released
After having to delay until Tuesday to complete his workouts for NFL scouts, the wait was worth it for Clemson edge rusher Myles Murphy. At a private workout at Clemson, Murphy was finally able to perform after missing the NFL Combine and Clemson's Pro Day back in March.
Clemson Football released the official results which can be viewed below. Murphy's 4.51 in the 40-yard dash would've been good for 6th among defensive ends at the Combine. His 7.22 in the 3-cone drill would've been good for 5th. Measuring in at nearly 6-foot-5 and 268 pounds, those are fairly elite numbers.
It remains to be seen where these numbers will put Murphy in the upcoming NFL Draft. One NFL Draft expert believes that teams will take him in the top half of the first round. We'll find out on April 27th.
