Son of Duke Basketball Legend Explodes for Ridiculous Double-Double

In this story:
Duke basketball recruiting target Cameron Boozer no longer sits atop the 247Sports 2025 Composite, as he dropped to No. 2 after five-star forward AJ Dybantsa announced his reclassification from 2026 a few months ago.

But the 6-foot-9, 235-pound Boozer, starring for Columbus High School (Fla.) alongside the other twin son of 2001 Duke basketball national champ and two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer in crafty guard and fellow Blue Devil target Cayden Boozer, continues to make his case for the top spot in the class.
On Thursday night, in a quarterfinal matchup at the Les Schwab Invitational in Oregon, Cameron Boozer put his next-level versatile production on full display. Leading Columbus to an 83-54 win over Beaverton (Ore.), the longtime Duke offer holder posted an off-the-charts double-double with 33 points and 19 rebounds in only 26 minutes on the court.
He shot 13-for-22 from the field, 2-for-3 from deep, and 5-for-6 at the charity stripe. And the mere 16-year-old, who visited the Blue Devils alongside his brother back in early November, didn't limit his show to offense. No, he added four blocks and two steals in the blowout.

Meanwhile, Cayden Boozer, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound five-star boasting a No. 14 composite ranking among the nation's current high school juniors, finished with 15 points, three boards, eight assists, one block, one steal, and only two turnovers in his 24 minutes of action.
The Boozer twins have neither named finalists in their high-profile recruitments nor provided a definitive timeline for choosing a college. They are among eight prospects, all of the five-star variety, on the 2025 Duke basketball offer sheet.
