FAU will travel to Gainesville to take on the Gators on September 4th, 2021. In correspondence to the agreement with Florida, FAU has canceled its series with Central Michigan, which was set to take place in 2019 and 2021. The 2019 game, however, was moved to 2024 before being scratched.
The Owls have put together a 17-12 record under Kiffin, awarding him a 10-year contract extension in late 2017.
Florida holds a 3-0 record over the Owls in their series history, dating back to 2007. The teams last met in 2015, where the Gators emerged victorious in overtime by a score of 20-14 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
