Tracking Betting Odds for Florida vs. Georgia

All Gators is tracking the betting odds for Florida's matchup with Georgia in Week 9.

No Brock Bowers, no problem? Vegas seems to think so.

Florida opened as a two-touchdown underdog to Georgia ahead of the annual midseason rivalry clash in Jacksonville, Fla., this Saturday. The line has moved in the Gators' favor since, but not significantly.

SI Sportsbook marks the spread at 13.5 points in favor of the Dawgs as of Wednesday, down one point from the 14.5-point opening line. The over/under was pulled on Thursday after opening at 48.5 points and reducing to 46.5 points on Wednesday.

The Gators are 44-54-2, according to Florida’s records, all-time against the Bulldogs. The series has seen the pendulum swing in the two-time reigning national champions favor in recent memory, with Florida going 2-5 against Georgia since Kirby Smart took over at the helm in Athens in 2016.

Florida’s latest win came in 2020, 44-28, on the back of a historically powerful offensive attack featuring Kyle Trask, Kyle Pitts, Kadarius Toney, Dameion Pierce and other current NFL talent.

Per usual, SEC East race implications are on the line in this matchup, with the winner positioning themselves in a promising spot to represent the division in Atlanta, Ga., for the conference championship contest on Dec. 2.

However, if the line is any indication, it’s an uphill climb for Billy Napier and Florida to take down the perennial national championship contender in the state border war.

The Gators and the Bulldogs are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.

Stay tuned as this story will be updated regularly to include any changes to the line throughout the week.
