OL No Longer With Florida Gators

In this story:
Offensive lineman Will Harrod was not listed on Florida's official 2023 football roster released on Monday and is no longer with the team, All Gators has learned.
Harrod, a rising fifth-year redshirt junior, spent a total of four seasons with the Gators after signing with the program in the recruiting class of 2019. He most recently participated in UF's 2023 spring training camp.
A product of Clinton (Md.) National Christian Academy, Harrod picked UF over 31 other scholarship offers at the time, with interest from the likes of Michigan, Florida State, Clemson and Ohio State among other programs.
The 6-foot-4, 325-pound Harrod appeared in 19 games in that span including 12 as a redshirt freshman in a special teams role, and received a total of 62 offensive snaps between the 2020-22 campaigns, at left tackle and left guard.
Harrod participated in Florida's 2022 Senior Day ceremony and graduated from the university following the Fall 2022 semester.
Harrod's departure is the latest of numerous offensive line transactions Florida has made throughout the 2023 offseason. He is the eighth player to leave the unit, following five transfers out (guards Ethan White, Joshua Braun and Yousef Mugharbil, and tackles Michael Tarquin and David Conner) and ascensions to the NFL by guard O'Cyrus Torrence and tackle Richard Gouraige.
Over the last eight months, Florida added linemen Micah Mazzccua, Damieon George Jr., Kiyaunta Goodwin and Lyndell Hudson Jr. from the transfer portal and signed Roderick Kearney, Knijeah Harris and Caden Jones from the prep level.
Florida's 2023 scholarship roster currently stands at 82 players following Harrod's departure. East Los Angeles College (JUCO) transfer edge rusher Quincy Ivory, who committed to UF in June, is expected to fill one of those spots upon enrollment.
