Florida expects representatives from all 32 NFL teams to attend the program's Pro Day on Thursday, March 30, All Gators has learned, where quarterback Anthony Richardson and 11 fellow Gators will work out in front of pro personnel for a final time ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Including coverage crews from SEC Network, ESPN and NFL+, over 70 media credentials have been reserved for the event as well. Full television coverage will begin on SEC Network at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday morning.

After crushing the NFL Combine with record-setting jumps and the fourth-fastest 40-yard dash among quarterbacks in recorded history, all eyes will be on Richardson, who will be expected to only throw passes and not participate in athletic testing drills.

Richardson's results from the Combine were enough to vault him into the conversation regarding the No. 1 pick in the draft, which belongs to quarterback-needy Carolina after a March 10 trade with Chicago.

A strong showing as a passer on Thursday — he'll have familiar receivers on the receiving end of throws — would only amplify the idea of Richardson going No. 1, and could lock him into the top five selections at the very least. Three perceived QB-needy teams fall within that range: Carolina, Houston and Indianapolis.

The following members of Florida's 2022 football roster are expected to participate in Thursday's workout:

  • Linebacker Amari Burney
  • Edge rusher Brenton Cox Jr.
  • Defensive lineman Gervon Dexter Sr.
  • Safety Trey Dean III
  • Offensive tackle Richard Gouraige
  • Wide receiver Jordan Pouncey
  • Quarterback Anthony Richardson
  • Wide receiver Justin Shorter
  • Offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence
  • Safety Rashad Torrence II

Linebacker Ventrell Miller will be in attendance and meet with NFL teams during the event, but remains sidelined from drills due to an offseason bone graft surgery for a Jones fracture, according to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.

Pro Day will offer Burney and Pouncey their first opportunities to work out in front of pro personnel as neither was invited to the Combine. Burney's testing will specifically be of intrigue following his breakout fifth-year campaign in 2022, ending with career highs in tackles (79), sacks (four) and interceptions (two).

Additionally, UF has invited Gators' 2022 All-SEC sprinter Dedrick Vanover to participate in the event. A two-year member of Morehouse College's secondary before transferring to Florida to focus on track, Vanover will compete as a defensive back during positional drills.
