The biggest game of the No. 6 Florida Gators (7-1, 4-1 SEC) and No. 8 Georgia Bulldogs' (6-1, 3-1 SEC) 2019 season is here after both teams had a bye week to prepare.

With a Top 10 win in Week 10, each team would receive the momentum necessary to march towards Atlanta for the SEC Championship in December, most likely against one of No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama.

Can the Kyle Trask-led Florida offense take what the always stout Georgia defense gives them, as the Bulldogs have failed to create their typical amount of sacks and turnovers this year, in order to dink-and-dunk their way to victory? Did Florida's defense correct their tackling issues in time to face one of the most elusive running backs in the nation in Georgia's D'Andre Swift?

LIVE BLOG

7:11 P.M.: That is all we have! Thanks for following along. This was a really disappointing loss for the Gators. I mentioned that 3rd down would be the deciding factor in the game, and Georgia went 12-18 and Florida went 2-9. However, the biggest factor in this game to me was the inability for Florida to find any sort of rhythm. They were not in it from the start and never seemed to be in sync offensively. They only lost by 7, but it felt like they were down 21 the entire game. They will look to bounce back against Vandy next week, but it will be interesting to see how they show up now that their playoff chances are over. Mullen will have a tough task to motivate his team to finish the season strong.

7:06 P.M.: Florida (7-2) will take on Vanderbilt (2-5) next week.

7:00 P.M.: Here are the final stats:

Georgia:

Fromm: 20/30, 279 yards, and 2 touchdowns

Swift: 25 carries for 86 yards

Cager: 7 receptions for 132 yards and 1 touchdown

Georgia was 12 for 18 on third down.

Florida:

Trask: 21/33 257 yards and 2 touchdowns

Perine: 7 carries for 31 yards

Pitts: 4 receptions for 78 yards

Swain: 8 receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown

Jefferson: 2 receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown

Florida was 2-9 on third down, with both of the first downs coming on their last drive of the game in the 4th quarter.

6:57 P.M.: That is all she wrote. Georgia defeats Florida 24-17. It was a real tough game for the Gators, as they never seemed to be on track. It was odd considering they had a Bye Week to prepare for this game. Dan Mullen and company will not have fun watching the film on this one because it is certainly a game they could have won. Florida is now 7-2 on the year and any hope of a Playoff run is over.

6:54 P.M.: Florida does not get the stop. Fromm completes a big pass to Eli Wolf for 22 yards and likely the game sealing play.

6:53 P.M.: It is 3rd down and 7. 2:53 left and Florida has used their last timeout. This is the biggest play of the game!

6:47 P.M.: Touchdown Gators! Trask to Swain for 2-yard touchdown. It was a 17 play drive that gained 75 yards. However, the Gators chewed 6 minutes and 50 seconds on the drive, leaving only 3:11 left in the 4th quarter. Florida trails 24-17.

6:47 P.M.: Florida converts a 4th and 2. Trask to Grimes for a 4-yard gain.

6:42 P.M.: Florida gets their second 3rd down conversion of the game, s Perine scampers for a 6-yard gain. Florida is driving and is in the red area.

6:40 P.M.: Florida gets their first 3rd down conversion of the game on a 15 yard pass from Trask to Swain.

6:29 P.M.: Florida needs their best drive of the season here, but it starts with a drop from Pitts on first down, an incomplete pass on second down that had no shot, and a timeout by Florida as the wide receivers did not know the play. Mullen was flipping out on WR coach Billy Gonzales on the sidelines because of it. Florida has wasted 3 timeouts today because they did not know what they were supposed to do. That is not ideal.

6:23 P.M.: Georgia goes for 2 and gets it. Fromm finds Cager, again. Cager has had a monster game. He has 7 catches for 132 yards, the 52-yard touchdown, and this 2-point conversion. It is 24-10, Georgia.

6:20 P.M.: Welp...The Florida defense has played so well all day and then they give up a 52-yard play-action pass touchdown. Fromm finds Cager for the 52 yard score. Georgia was 2-2 on third down on the drive as well to put them at 11-16 on the day. Florida is 0-6.

6:08 P.M.: TOUCHDOWN GATORS!!! Trask finds Van Jefferson, who makes a GROWN MAN 50-50 jump ball catch for a 23-yard score. Florida needed that score badly. It is now 16-10 Georgia with 13:51 left in the 4th quarter. Trask was 7-7 on the drive for 74 yards and the touchdown.

6:07 P.M.: 4th and 1 and Trask converts on a nice 6-yard pass to Swain. Mullen needs to keep the ball in Trask's hands!

6:06 P.M.: Mullen calls a QB run to Trask, on a drive where he is 5-5 throwing the ball. Short of the sticks and 0-6 on 3rd down.

6:03 P.M.: End of the 3rd quarter. Georgia still leads 16-3. Trask and the offense are showing some life. They will start the 4th quarter with a HUGE 3rd and 6. They have yet to convert a 3rd down, as they are 0-5 through three quarters.

6:01 P.M.: Trask is currently 4-4 on this drive with three first downs.

6:00 P.M.: Trask and the offense are clearly reading the live blog today. Back to back first down throws to start this drive. Finally some life!

5:59 P.M.: Florida has to get something going on offense. They are only down two scores (16-3) with 2:49 left in the third quarter. I would love to see them go back to the Kyle to Kyle connection on this drive. Pitts dropped a pass earlier, but he has been really good today.

5:56 P.M.: Florida catches another break, as Swift broke a 37-yard touchdown run that was called back for a hold. They used the good fortune to get Georgia to a 3rd and 18. However, Georgia gained nine yards to make it 4th and 9. But luckily a false start penalty backed Georgia out of field goal range and gave Florida the ball back.

5:46 P.M.: After the terrible turn of events, Florida runs the ball on 3rd and 34 for a two yard gain, putting them at 0-5 on 3rd down. The offense has been really, really bad and this one could get ugly.

5:44 P.M.: Florida gets a first down on a short of the sticks third down throw because of an offside penalty on Georgia. However, Trask makes a terrible decision on first down and takes a 19-yard loss on a sack. He then followed that up with a delay of game penalty. Florida has not looked prepared on offense in this game.

5:38 P.M.: Trask throws a 50-50 ball to the sideline and Florida finally gets some good luck as Trevon Grimes making an amazing 27-yard catch. Grimes got one foot in while fighting off defensive pass interference.

5:34 P.M.: Florida gets Georgia to a big 3rd and 10 and finally gets off the field, only giving up three yards. Georgia adds another field goal to go up 16-3.

5:32 P.M.: Fromm has been dealing on the first drive of the second half. Fromm finds Cager for 30 yards and a huge play for Georgia.

5:29 P.M.: Fromm follows that up with a great anticipation throw down the sideline to Herrien again, but Herrien made an amazing diving catch. Gain of 18.

5:28 P.M.: Georgia starts off the second half converting their first third down. Fromm finds running back Brian Herrien for 16 yards on third and 8.

5:10 P.M.: Here are some first half stats...

Georgia:

Fromm: 11/19 103 yards and a touchdown

Swift: 13 carries for 56 yards (4.3 yards per carry, but a 30 yard scamper helped that)

Cager: 4 receptions for 46 yards

Georgia is 8 for 11 on third down.

Florida:

Trask: 6/11 106 yards

Perine: 3 carries for 10 yards

Pitts: 4 receptions for 78 yards

Florida is 0-4 on third down.

5:04 P.M.: We have played a half of football. Georgia leads Florida 13-3. The Bulldogs will get the ball to start the second half. Florida should be thankful only being down 10, as their offense has not played well.

5:00 P.M.: Fromm missed two big throws that should have resulted in touchdowns. However, Georgia settles for the 37-yard field goal. They lead the Gators 13-3 with 14 seconds left in the second quarter.

4:56 P.M.: Swift had been bottled up all game, but he breaks a big 30-yard run, taking Georgia to the Gators 24-yard line with 1:40 left in the second quarter.

4:51 P.M.: Evan McPherson comes in for Florida and hits a much-needed 38-yard field goal to make the score 10-3, Georgia.

4:51 P.M.: After Trask hits two big throws, Dan Mullen brings in backup quarterback Emory Jones for a gain of two on second down. This move is confusing, as Trask just started slinging it. Trask comes back into the game on third down and has his pass tipped at the line, for another failed third down conversion.

4:48 P.M.: Trask follows up the gain of 29 with a 23 yard strike to Freddie Swain.

4:47 P.M.: Pitts catches his fourth pass of the game, and it is a big one. It was a gain of 29. Pitts now has four catches for 78 yards.

4:44 P.M.: After a lot of help from the referees on the drive, Fromm finds wide receiver Dominick Blaylock for a three-yard touchdown. Ironically, it was another third down that the Bulldogs found success. It is 10-0 Georgia with 4:43 left in the second quarter.

4:40 P.M.: Fromm threw a pass that seemed to be incomplete to Lawrence Cager, as the ball hit the ground. However, after review, it was Georgia's 7th third down conversion. It was a really, really bad call. It should have been ruled incomplete.

4:36 P.M.: Georgia converts on another third down. They are 6 for 8 on third down, while Florida is 0 for 3.

4:30 P.M.: Florida's offense has not been playing well. Dameon Pierce was stopped for a loss on third and one, leading to another Florida punt.

4:18 P.M.: End of the 1st quarter. 3-0 Georgia. Trask is 4/6 54 yards. Perine has three carries for 10 yards. Pitts has three receptions for 49 yards.

4:13 P.M.: Florida has been very sloppy today. They wasted two timeouts and were also penalized for 12 in the huddle. And we have 1:49 left in the first quarter.

4:06 P.M.: Georgia makes a 31-yard field goal to take a 3-0 lead in the first quarter.

3:59 P.M.: Florida gives up a terrible 3rd and 14 on an underneath throw that picked up 15.

3:54 P.M.: Florida goes for it on 4th and 1 and Trask’s pass falls incomplete. Georgia takes over.

3:48 P.M.: Florida wasted another time out early on a big third down. Only 3 minutes and 18 seconds into the game and they only have one timeout left in the first half. This is not an ideal start.

3:43 P.M.: Kyle Pitts starts the game off hot, catching two passes for 25 yards. But Florida had a ton of confusion on offense and wasted their first time out, only 1 minute and 47 seconds into the game.

3:38 P.M.: Georgia wins the toss (Tails never fails). They defer and Florida will receive the opening kickoff! Here we go!

3:25 P.M.: Defensive ends Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga, as well as Kadarius Toney warmed up with the team and are ready to go against Georgia. Defensive tackle Marlon Dunlap Jr. did not warm up and won't play.

3:00 P.M.: Here are the three key personnel matchups that will decide the Florida-Georgia game.
