Big 10 DB Commit Schedules Official Visit to Florida

In this story:
Florida cornerback target and current Michigan State commit Jamari Howard has locked in a June 2-4 official visit to Gainesville, he confirmed to All Gators on Thursday.
On3 Sports' Gators Online was the first to report the impending trek.
Howard visited the Gators frequently during the spring, traveling from Hialeah (Fla.) to campus thrice since January.
During those trips, Florida secondary coach Corey Raymond showed considerable attention to the talented in-state cover corner as Howard aligns as a priority target for the renowned defensive backs assistant in the 2024 class.
Standing at 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, Howard possesses the size, length and athleticism Raymond cherishes boundary cornerback talent. According to MaxPreps, he's accounted for three interceptions and an impressive 59 pass breakups in two seasons at the varsity level of prep ball, showcasing his man-to-man coverage ability in resounding fashion at Westland Hialeah High.
Now, the Gators will get another opportunity to pitch Howard what they have to offer in person — this time on an official, multi-day basis — to potentially elicit a flip.
Currently, Florida is thought to be a top contender to pull Howard away from his pledge to Mel Tucker and Co. in East Lansing, Mich. Florida State and Alabama stand out as the others atop Howard's recruitment if he were to remove himself from his alignment with the Spartans before eventually putting pen to paper in December.
As a result, it is expected that Howard's recruitment will run until at least the Early Signing Period.
