CB Wardell Mack Schedules Official Visit to Florida

In this story:
Marrero (La.) John Ehret 2024 cornerback Wardell Mack will officially visit Florida from June 16-18, he shared via Twitter on Tuesday evening.
Mack emerged as a target of Florida's on March 9, when he receieved a scholarship offer from the Gators.
He proceeded to unofficially visit UF the next month, on April 8. Mack connected with Florida defensive backs coach Corey Raymond at the time, an assistant with long-standing ties to Mack's home state of Louisiana as a New Iberia native and former player (1987-91) and coach (2006-08, 2012-21) at LSU.
Prior to his upcoming trek to UF, Mack officially visited Florida State from June 2-4. The only other official trip currently on his schedule is to Texas from June 23-25.
Mack, who stands at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, is considered the No. 13 cornerback and No. 111 prospect nationwide in the class of 2024 by the 247Sports composite rankings. He also plays quarterback and wide receiver for his high school.
“We're going to use Wardell all over because he is such a dynamic athlete,” John Ethret head coach Reggie Rogers said of Mack before the 2022 campaign, via NOLA.com. “We just let him play and make plays. He’s one of those athletes that’s effortless in everything he does. He makes coaches look a lot smarter.”
Statistics from Mack's junior season are unavailable but his highlights from the year can be observed below, via HUDL.
