Quickly emerging as one of Florida's top defensive line targets in the current recruiting cycle, Jackson's plans to officially visit UF follow his March 12 scholarship offer from Gators' defensive line coach Sean Spencer and an April 1 unofficial tour of campus.
Jackson has reciprocated the Gators' interest, including Florida among his top five schools released on May 3, along with Texas, Ohio State, Miami and Oklahoma.
Standing at 6-foot-2, 300 pounds, Jackson is considered the No. 62 defensive lineman and No. 667 overall prospect in the class of 2024, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Jackson transferred to IMG Academy before the 2022 season after recording 45 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss in two varsity seasons at Brownsburg (Ind.) High.
Primarily aligning between the nose tackle and three-technique spots on the Ascenders' defensive line, Jackson tallied 17 tackles with six for loss in four games as a junior.
Florida is pushing to receive an official visit from Jackson's fellow IMG Academy 2024 defensive lineman, David Stone Jr., the same weekend or another three-day stretch in June, Stone told All Hurricanes on May 17.
