Picayune (Miss.) Memorial class of 2024 edge rusher Jamonta Waller plans to officially visit Florida from June 16-18, he told Adam Gorney of Rivals on Wednesday.

Waller will also make way to Auburn (June 3-5), Penn State (June 9-11) and Georgia (June 23-25) on an official visit tour throughout the month.

The trip will mark Waller's second to The Swamp, offering him further opportunity to strengthen relationships with Gators head coach Billy Napier, defensive coordinator Austin Armstrong and other assistants.

"[Armstrong] was recruiting me when he was at Southern Miss, so we have been locked in for a little minute now," Waller told All Gators in February. "I talk to all the defensive coaches. Coach [Mike] Peterson is a great coach, he's a cool dude and we've got the same personality. I can't wait to meet him."

Waller ended up meeting Peterson, reconnecting with Armstrong and getting to know the rest of Florida's coaching staff during an unofficial visit to Gainesville on March 11.

Waller, 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, is considered the No. 9 edge rusher and No. 102 overall prospect in the class of 2024 according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He produced a whopping 106 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, one interception, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries as a junior in 2022.
