Gaithersburg (Md.) Quince Orchard edge rusher Jaylen Harvey named his top five programs on Monday evening, including the Florida Gators, Southern California Trojans, Penn State Nittany Lions, Tennessee Volunteers and Maryland Terrapins.

Harvey is approaching the conclusion of an official visits tour that began at Penn State from June 2-4. Florida was next on his list, from June 9-11, and USC followed from June 16-18. He will finish his travels at Maryland this weekend, June 23-25, unless Tennessee manages to squeeze an official visit into Harvey's schedule before his pledge.

Harvey intends to announce his college commitment on July 4, as he previously announced.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Harvey is regarded as the No. 25 edge rusher and No. 348 overall prospect in the class of 2024 by the 247Sports composite rankings. He has collected more than 25 Power 5 scholarship offers since his breakout as a sophomore in high school, as a member of back-to-back Maryland Class 4A state champion squads.

Florida has recruited Harvey's home-state well in the 2024 cycle, having secured the commitments of Olney (Md.) Our Lady Good Counsel linebacker Aaron Chiles and Upper Marlboro (Md.) Charles Herbert Flowers offensive tackle Mike Williams
