A native of Mississippi, Lewis transferred to IMG Academy prior to his junior season after beginning his high school career at Madison (Miss.) Ridgeland Academy. He has primarily manned the position of right tackle at the prep level but has been projected to move to the interior offensive line in college.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Lewis checks in as the No. 11 interior offensive lineman and No. 160 overall prospect in the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. 247Sports individually views Lewis as the nation's No. 1 interior offensive line recruit, however.
The Gators signed Lewis' former IMG Academy offensive line teammate, interior lineman Knijeah Harris, in the class of 2023, along with guard/center Roderick Kearney and tackles Bryce Lovett and Caden Jones. Florida also welcomed the offseason transfers of tackles Damieon George Jr. and Kiyaunta Goodwin and guard Micah Mazzccua.
