Star UF quarterback commitment DJ Lagway quickly made it known that he would like to toss throws to Tuggle in The Swamp, encouraging Gator Nation to interact with the wide receiver prospect on social media.
"Florida fans show Nitro where home is," Lagway tweeted.
Florida is one of a few SEC programs to host Tuggle this spring, as he also toured Texas A&M and Georgia in recent weeks. He intends to officially visit UGA this summer.
Tuggle, 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, is considered the No. 67 wide receiver and No. 457 prospect nationwide in the class of 2024 per the 247Sports composite rankings.
A tenured contributor within Northwood's offense, Tuggle hauled in 78 receptions for 1,417 yards and 22 touchdowns between his sophomore and junior seasons of prep ball. He scored an additional two touchdowns passing, two touchdowns rushing and two touchdowns returning in 2022.
