Drelon Miller, a top wide receiver prospect in the 2024 class, is moving forward with nine potential suitors to earn his services at the collegiate level, he announced on Sunday.
The Silsbee (Texas) product named the Florida Gators alongside Duke, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and USC to his list of contenders. He plans on announcing his commitment on June 29.

Standing at 6-foot-2, 198 pounds, Miller produced as a highly efficient wideout over the past two seasons, reeling in 100 receptions, 2,529 yards and 34 touchdowns. Possessing a big frame with fluid mobility for someone of his stature, he‘s expected to contribute in multiple facets upon his collegiate arrival.
The Gators are vying to have that happen in orange and blue, although seemingly behind some of the competition.
Florida’s made multiple efforts to get Miller to campus this spring. However, due to travel complications or otherwise conflicting events, the wideout’s scheduled trip(s) to Gainesville failed to materialize.
Getting Miller to visit will be the Gators' main focus before his summertime commitment date. He currently has official visits scheduled to Miami (June 2-4) and USC (June 16-18).
Under the new NCAA rules, Miller can take as many official visits as he elects to. His only limitation is his set commitment date for the last week of June, limiting his pre-pledge visits.
As Billy Gonzalez looks to add talented playmakers to his position room to stack DJ Lagway’s arsenal of weapons, Miller aligns as one of its top targets — given the talent he possesses and established chemistry between the two entities as close friends and teammates on the 7-on-7 circuit.

It’ll be a difficult task to pluck the talented pass catcher away from his home state and the other powerhouse programs in pursuit of his services, but the pledge of Lagway could pay dividends for the Gators down the stretch.
With Miller set to make his own pledge in just over two months, Florida likely feels a sense of urgency in their pursuit of the elite-caliber talent.
