FSU Football Fans and Players React to Historic 2023 Season Coming to a Close

The Seminoles finish the season 13-1 after a heartbreaking loss to the Georgia Bulldogs in the Orange Bowl.

Although the season ended on a low note for the Florida State Seminoles after suffering a devastating 63-3 defeat at the hands of the back-to-back National Championship winners, the Seminoles left it all on the field one last time in the 2023 season.

With a depleted roster on both sides of the ball due to transfers, injuries, and opt-outs, the Seminoles turned to young stars like Brock Glenn, who was coming off his first career start after leading the Seminoles to a victory in the ACC Championship Game.

Although it may not be the undefeated season with a playoff appearance like many players and fans had hoped for, the 2023 season FSU saw was, in many ways, magical. Whether it was the first conference championship, the wins over LSU, Clemson, and both in-state rivals, or even the bond the team showed during the season's final games when all hope seemed lost, this team will go down as one of the best in school history.

For that reason, fans and players decided to take to social media with gratitude for what this season has been rather than harping about the loss or what could have happened had things gone differently.
