"Odell (Haggins) knows what it's like to win championships. It was good to be back on top. It was good to be competing with the best," the Heisman Trophy winner said when referring to the 2013 Florida State team who went to the promised land and brought home the program's third national title.

2023 is expected to be a pivotal one for the Noles, who are coming off a 10-3 season where the team defeated both of its primary rivals and came out victorious over Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl. Starting quarterback Jordan Travis seeks a repeat of the 2013 season and has garnered a lot of Heisman hype entering his final year of eligibility.

After speaking to the team, Winston threw out the first pitch during Florida State Baseball's home win against Pittsburgh. He returned to campus the following day to recognize Jermaine Johnson during his All-American Brick Ceremony while being present in Mike Norvell's office when his younger brother picked up a scholarship offer from the Seminoles.

With players like Winston, Keir Thomas (Rams), Jashaun Corbin (Giants) and Jermaine Johnson II (Jets) all on campus over the weekend, it proved to be a success for the team and recruiting.
