WATCH: Keon Coleman Stiff-Arms His Way For Touchdown To Extend Florida State's Lead

Coleman delivers another big play for the Seminoles to build the advantage over the Demon Deacons.

Florida State came into the game against the Demon Deacons without the services of three wide receivers in the two-deep, including a pair of starters. With Johnny Wilson, Destyn Hill, and Hykeem Williams out of the lineup, a bigger burden than expected has fallen on rising star Keon Coleman.

Despite an emphasis from the Wake Forest defense to limit Coleman, he's answered the challenge and is delivering another standout performance to add to his resume. Quarterback Jordan Travis targeted him on his first four passes of the game and is continuing to consistently look for his top target.

That led to another big play for Coleman as Florida State extended its lead early in the second quarter. He caught a hitch route at the line of scrimmage before shaking one defender and exploding down the line of scrimmage. Coleman delivered a disrespectful stiff-arm on another Demon Deacon to finish the play.

The score marked his ACC-leading eighth touchdown of the season. Coleman has recorded 35 catches for 518 yards to lead the Seminoles in receiving.

Florida State is outgaining Wake Forest 182-86 in yards of total offense. That includes a 131-19 advantage in passing yards.

The Seminoles lead the Demon Deacons 17-7 with time to play in the second quarter.
